Perkara penting yang perlu diambil kira:

• Apabila anda dikehendaki untuk membuat pelakon menjadi orang lain, anda perlu mengubah penampilannya sehingga bersesuaian dengan watak yang dikehendaki. Jika watak mengingikan seperti kurus,gemuk,jahat baik hati,hodoh dan sebagainya kita seharunya menukarkan rupa muka seperti yang diingini. Untuk membantu mendapatkan watak yang diingini ini kita boleh menggunakan pelbagai kaedah seperti gigi palsu,wig dan prosthetic facial.

• Apabila anda melakukan highligt dan shading anda hanya menggunakan wajah pelakon dan mengubahnya dengan menunjukkan dan menyembunyikan perkara yang sudah ada. Berdasarkan pada jenis pentas yang di gunakan dangan menggunakan solekan berbeza.  Jika anda bekerja pada ruang pentas yang kecil solekan yang digunakan seharusnya bersesuaian dengan ruang pentas , jika berkerja dengan pentas yang lebih besar solekan memang akan tampak ganjil pada pelakon tetapi nampak gah bila berada di atas pentas.

Sudah masuk minggu ke sebelas. Pelbagai teknik Make up telah di ajar oleh pensyarah. Pada kelas kali ini, kami diperkenalkan dengan teknik solekan "Transform Gender" dimana kami perlu menyolek diri dengan berlawan jantina masing - masing. Seperti kebiasaan, sebelum menyolek, kami telah diminta oleh pensyarah untuk membina karakter diri yang bakal di solek nanti. Berikut adalah watak yang telah saya cipta pada kelas kali ini:

Setelah mengenalpasti teknik solekan dan karakter yang akan digunakan, pensyarah mencadangkan supaya kelas diadakan sekali lagi untuk memindahkan teknik tersebut pada wajah masing - masing kerana masa kami terhad. Kelas tamat.

How to apply Eyeshadow that suits your Eyes

During mono lid make up, the most occurring problem is on how to make the eyes look bigger. below are some options could be taken which are:

-use colour contact lenses

-use eyelid tape to perform double eyelid effect

-Wear fake eyelashes

-make-up effect to make eyes looks BIGGER (below are an example i would love to share)

color that would be use:

Black (matte) -#no. 1

White (glitter) - # no.2

Plum purple (matte)- #no.3

Turquoise (glitter)-# no.4

Turquoise blue (matte) -# no.5

as usual for the first step is to wear moisturizer and foundation. after both has been applied, lets then proceed on making up the big eye! this is our model for today, lets name her Ms. Sepet.

After applied the foundation:

apply the urban  decay eye primer potion onto the whole eye part:

Follow the red line,and apply the black (matte) no#1.

do not have to worry, later we will blend the black!  =)

apply the turquoise (glitter) no# 4 on the red line area above

Then,apply the turquoise (matte) #no.5

try to blend both the black and blue.

over this area, we will dab a bit of purple plum (matte ) #no. 3 and a bit of black matte.

blend both of the colors into the area.

for this area, apply the white giltter #no.2

on this yellow-marked line, apply your eyeliner.

make a conenction between the upper and lower eyeliner.

near the yellow area, apply a white glittered eyeliner. flatten in to be highlighted later.

apply eyeliner on the lower waterline base.

Curl up your eye lashes and apply mascara.

So, here it is!

done with the eye make-up, take yourself towards the finishing line by applying your compact powder and your favorite lip gloss!

TIPS SOLEKAN MATA KECIL/ SEPET
*Menghasilkan bentuk mata tiga dimensi, gunakan berus untuk membentuk kelopak pada bahagian atas mata menggunakan painting liner brown. Gariskan sepanjang kira-kira 3/4 daripada bahagian mata.
*Mulakan garisan daripada bahagian bermula dari penjuru mata membawa ke tengah mengikut bentuk ditunjukkan supaya mata tampak lebih besar.
*Kemaskan ia bersama rona pembayang mata pilihan. Usah lupa kenakan maskara untuk impak lebih dramatik.

How to Make Eyes Look Bigger

1. Use eyeliner only on the outer rim of the eyelids, not the inner rim.
2. Blend eyeliner with a cotton swab rather than leaving it as a harsh line.
3. Avoid drawing eyeliner on the inner corner of the lower lid; instead, start the line at the beginning of eyelash growth or even closer to the middle of the eye.

4. Use a light shade of eye shadow on the upper lid leading up to the brow, which will open up the eye. A darker color can be used in the fold of the eye.

Mascara on the lower lashes Unless your going for a doll or other alternative makeup, leave your lower lashes bare. FAKE BLOOD RECIPES

What's a Halloween costume party without blood for special effects? Fake blood is available in novelty and party supply stores but making it yourself is fun and you'll see more realistic results. Mix up a batch before a party and keep the local vampires in good supply.

Here are some recipes for you to make your own realistic-looking fake blood. Real blood is reddish brown so you may need to alter the amounts of ingredients for the desired affect. Keep in mind, fake blood is messy and some of these recipes may leave stains, so use with caution and allow plenty of time for drying.

Homemade Fake Blood

1 c. Karo Syrup

1 Tbsp Water

2 Tbsp Red Food Coloring

1 tsp Yellow Food Coloring

Mix together in a mixing bowl and you're done. Try adding blue or yellow for a different shade.

Chocolate Fake Blood

1/2 c. Warm Water

4 Tbsp Corn Syrup

1 Tbsp Powdered Cocoa

1 tsp Red Food Coloring

Blend the water and cocoa together and then add the rest of the ingredients. Let the concoction sit for awhile and skim the bubbles off of the top. Add a couple of drops of yellow food coloring if you're not satisfied.

Simple Fake Blood

Clear Corn Syrup

Red Food Coloring

Milk - Optional

However much fake blood is how much corn syrup you'll need. Pour it into a bowl and mix in some red food coloring. Add some blue if you like. Adding a small amount of milk will make the blood appear darker and thicker.

Realistic Recipe

2/3 c. Corn Syrup

1/3 c. Warm Water

5 Tbsp Corn Starch

4 tsp red food coloring

1 Tbsp Powdered Cocoa

2 drops of green or yellow food coloring

Mix the corn starch with the water in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the corn syrup. Add the food coloring slowly, checking for color.

Gravy Blood

This is fairly new and I haven't had chance to test it properly but its looks GREAT!

Gravy Granules

Red Food Coloring

HOT Water

The directions are EASY, all you do is make the gravy up as you would normally but if you feel like it, you can make it a bit thicker, then add the red food coloring. It's up to you how much you add but too much will stain as it will not have been diluted enough.

Cheap 'N' Easy Blood

This is good for spidering:

Plain Flour

Water

Red Food Coloring

1 tsp. of Coffee

Boil the water on the stove, then sieve in the flour, making sure you get ALL of the lumps out. The quantity of ingredients aren't important, it just depends on how much you want. Once you have the flour mixed nicely into the water it should look nice and thick. Next, add the red food coloring.

You will notice that it's a ghastly, bright red colour but don't worry this is why we add the coffee. It is important that when you add the coffee to make sure the mixture is hot, otherwise it wont dissolve, but up until adding the coffee can be done in a ordinary mixing jug or pan.

Palmolive Imitation Blood

You can also make fake blood with Palmolive dish soap, (it doesn't matter how much you put in) it depends on how much blood you want! Add red berry powdered Kool-Aid!

MAKE-UP PENUAAN

Pensyarah ( En.Nur Afifi Mohamed Taib ) telah memperkenalkan kepada kami sekelas dengan teknik solekan yang baru . Ia dipanggil sebagai Aging Make Up atau solekan penuaan . Berikut adalah keterangan yang disampaikan oleh pensyarah :
"Secara amnya , kulit manusia akan kelihatan tua pada awal usia 30 - 40 tahun dan antara faktornya ialah tahap kesihatan seseorang , kulit yang mengendur kerana tarikan graviti bumi , faktor persekitaran dan faktor stress atau tekanan hidup/perasaan dan pelbagai lagi lah haa.. Oleh itu , bagi mewujudkan penampilan sebagai orang tua agak sukar untuk di capai dan ia perlu sentiasa di praktikkan di mana kaedah ini sama seperti Corrective Make Up . Melalui hasil solekan , ia dapat menggambarkan seseorang itu tentang tahap umurnya kepada orang lain . "


Setelah pensyarah memberikan keterangan , kami memulakan aktiviti solekan dan setiap langkah-langkahnya adalah seperti di bawah :

Setelah mengaplikasikan make-up asas ke atas wajah,saya banyak melakukan shading dan highlight di kawasan-kawasan yang akan menampakkan kedutan. Di antara kawasan -kawasan yang banyak memain peranan penting dalam solekan penuaan ini adalah di bahagian bawah mata,bahagian dahi,pipi dan bahagian dagu.bahagian-bahagian inilah yang kebiasaannya akan mengalami banyak kedutan.Untuk shading saya menggunakan "negro" foundation dan untuk highlight saya menggunakan "white" foundation.Setelah selesai melakukan solekan,saya dapat lihat perbezaan yang berlaku ke atas wajah saya di mana saya kelihatan seperti seseorang yang lebih tua dan berumur.
